On Saturday, September 6th, riders from across Northern Tasmania came together for United We Ride 2025, joining thousands of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts across Australia and New Zealand for this nationwide charity ride in support of The Salvation Army.
Locally, 56 riders hit the road, raising an incredible $2,651 through registrations and donations. Adding to the success, the Launceston Salvos Corps hosted a fundraising BBQ that not only fed hungry riders but also brought in an extra $434. PLUS we donated $4,500 of H-D merch to our local Salvo's stores! Together, our community raised a total of $7,585 for The Salvation Army Launceston.
A special congratulations goes to our top fundraiser, Mitch Deal, who single-handedly raised over $800 – an outstanding effort!
The day was everything United We Ride is about – freedom, adventure, and mateship. Engines roared, spirits were high, and everyone came together for a cause that makes a real difference in the lives of those doing it tough.
A Message from Harley-Davidson Australia
From Harley-Davidson HQ, the national team shared their gratitude:
“On behalf of the entire team at Lane Cove, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your outstanding support in hosting and running the United We Ride event this past Saturday. Your commitment to the Harley-Davidson community and the energy you brought to the event helped make it a truly memorable experience for all involved. More importantly, we were able to deliver on the event goal of supporting those less fortunate through some fantastic donation results for The Salvation Army across Australia and New Zealand.”
This year, United We Ride drew 2,913 registered riders across ANZ, raising close to $160,000 AUD for The Salvation Army.
Looking Ahead
We’re so proud of our local riders and community for their generosity and spirit. Thank you to everyone who registered, rode, donated, cooked, or cheered us on.
We’re already looking forward to making United We Ride 2026 even bigger and better!
