Motorcycle Sales Consultant – Full Time

House of Motorcycles & Richardson’s Harley-Davidson

Are you confident, motivated, and passionate about helping people find their dream bike? Ready for a fast-paced showroom where no two days are the same? If you’ve got the drive, we’ve got the opportunity.

This role covers both the House of Motorcycles and Richardson’s Harley-Davidson — two of Tasmania’s leading dealerships within the Richardson’s H-D Group. Proudly Tasmanian-owned with over 50 years of heritage, our team brings together more than 200 years of combined motorcycle experience… and now we’re looking for the right person to help fuel our next chapter.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping customers find the perfect bike — new, pre-owned, or trade-in
  • Building long-term relationships with riders
  • Using proven sales techniques to hit and exceed targets
  • Learning multiple major motorcycle brands and product ranges
  • Working Saturdays as part of our essential sales roster
  • Getting involved in events, demo days, open houses & community engagement
  • Collaborating with a passionate, high-performing team

What You’ll Need

  • Current driver’s licence (Class C)
  • Motorcycle licence (Class R)
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Willingness to complete a DISC personality profile

Motorcycle Wreckers Parts & Workshop Role – Part Time / Commission-Based

Tasmanian Motorcycle Wreckers | House of Motorcycles & Richardson’s Harley-Davidson Complex

Do you love tinkering with motorcycles and know your way around Japanese bikes like the back of your hand?

Are you semi-retired or retired, but not quite ready to hang up the overalls?

Tasmanian Motorcycle Wreckers is on the lookout for a motorcycle enthusiast to join our team on a part-time basis, selling, sourcing, and organising parts in our wreckers department under a commission-based arrangement. Wages and the pay structure will be discussed and agreed upon with the successful applicant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active in the motorcycle world without the full-time commitment.

What we're looking for:

  • A deep understanding of Japanese and other brands motorcycles – makes, models, and parts
  • Mechanical knowledge – you're comfortable pulling bikes apart and identifying components
  • Solid organisational skills – sorting, cataloguing, and identifying parts
  • Good customer service – in person, via phone, and online
  • Comfortable using a computer – handling emails, online listings, and enquiries
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and enjoys a bit of banter in the workshop

What you’ll be doing:

  • Dismantling and sorting motorcycles and parts
  • Identifying, tagging, and organising inventory
  • Assisting customers and selling second-hand parts
  • Handling email and internet enquiries
  • Creating and managing listings on eBay and social media platforms
  • Preparing and listing wrecked bikes and parts for sale
  • Helping keep the wrecking area tidy, efficient, and well-organise

This role is based at our Tasmanian Motorcycle Wreckers workshop, located within the House of Motorcycles & Richardson’s Harley-Davidson complex in Prospect.
