On October 21st Richardson’s Harley-Davidson & the House of Motorcycles are celebrated 45 Years of Richardson’s Harley-Davidson being an authorised Harley-Davidson dealer. We had an awesome day, Thanks to everyone who attended. The weather was not looking great, but held off for our event. We want to say a HUGE thank you to all our team for the effort that goes into organising these events and the raffle. The weather didn’t stop our dedicated customers and team who joined us for our thunder ride back to the dealership, where we then had free children’s entertainment, a show and shine, demonstrations by the Tasmanian Moto Trials Club and stunt shows by Six Six Harley Wheelies, and Samora Squid doing some tricks and sword swallowing on stage at the Iron Horse which would have not been possible without all your help. All our customers had a great time at the event and praised the dealership and their sponsors on great events and reaching our target for the $50,000.
Your sponsorship dollars went towards the event and giving back to the community and helping raise the $50,000. We had free kids rides, face painting stunt entertainment, live performers, prizes and trophies for guests who entered and attended and pop-up shops. A great day was had by all thanks to you. We also sent out the attached press release to all major media outlets and motorcycle magazines, sponsors we mentioned through the day on the mic’s at both events, major sponsors were featured in the TV ads, the attached signage was on display at and between both events, and shared and tagged numerous times on our social media with our combined 25,000 plus followers, sent out to thousands on our monthly mailouts and over 9,000 text message had attached links with sponsor details plus on flyers in store.
We drew our major fundraising raffle at this event, and we have raised our target of $50,000 for the Children’s Ward at the Launceston General Hospital, this hospital will use the money raised to purchase a new piece of equipment which will help the hospital do infant and children’s sleep studies.
We had 3 winners of the $50,000 in prizes and all 3 bikes were won by Tasmanians who were very happy with their prizes.
